I exiled myself from the Great American Midwest over 20 years ago, after getting a Bachelors Degree in Architecture at the University of Oklahoma. I have remained in hiding under cool, life-giving fog and clouds ever since. Not a single summer month passes when I don’t thank the North Star for guiding me out and away from the intense midwestern heat and humidity. I’m also very grateful that Seattle has good Mexican food (yes, it does!). I considered that a deal-breaker before moving here.
I am also a licensed Architect in Washington State, specializing in residential design. If I’m not giving a tour or designing someone’s wonderful new abode, I’m definitely out in the woods with my scrappy little dog Gracie, who has been told that she’s chasing buffalo (but they’re actually just chipmunks or squirrels).
Before joining Savor Seattle, I was a Guide for Bill Speidel’s Underground Tour for three years. I am now rejoicing in the sunlight and splendor of Pike Place Market!
