Restaurants

Mashiko
Hands down, our favorite restaurant in all of Seattle. That is saying a lot, considering it’s all the way in West Seattle. This is adventurous Japanese cuisine. This is not going to be fun if you are a “I don’t eat anything raw or was alive at one point” kind of person. Best advice: Make reservations for the sushi bar. Order the Course Meal for a whopping $60.00/couple and get a five-course tasting meal, chef’s choice. Or if you have 3 ½ hours to spare, hunker down for the Omakase, usually an 8-9 course extravaganza. Say hello to Hajime Sato (the owner), Mariah, and John for us!

Paseo Caribbean
A tiny, extremely casual, cash-only Cuban sandwich place. They serve other non-sandwich things, but stick to the pork sandwiches and you won’t be disappointed. In particular, order sandwich #2. Go early or expect to wait in line!

Six Seven
One of the best-kept secret lunch spots ever. Great Pacific Northwest cuisine, but with a view that will knock you out. It’s right on the water! The bento boxes are the best bang for the buck.

Quinn's

Gastropub to the max! Heavy on the rich foods (e.g. foie gras, bone marrow, and more foie gras), beers from all around the world, this is an IT place to eat. Go early for dinner to avoid long waits.
