The Savor Storytellers
A food tour is only as good as its guide, and we’ve built our company around that belief.
At Savor, our guides are professional storytellers, licensed locals, and passionate neighborhood experts who take their craft seriously.
Your guide makes or breaks the trip, so we don’t cut corners.
Our All-Star Guide Program, industry-leading wages, and Guide Guarantee ensure every guide meets the same high bar. No matter who leads your tour, you can count on the same exceptional experience every time.
We invest in our guides because your experience depends on it, and we stand behind our people and the work they do.

Meet Our Guides
Each of our tour guides brings deep local knowledge, genuine relationships with vendors, and a personal passion for sharing the city’s food culture.
They do more than lead tours. They create memorable, story-driven experiences that connect guests to the people, history, and flavors that define Seattle.

Heather
I grew up in the Eastside suburbs of Seattle, and after some time away, I realized the Northwest would always be home.
My path took me from studying musical theatre in Santa Fe to giving food tours in New York City, where I felt like Belle in Beauty and the Beast—waving to the butchers and bakers on my way to work and feeling part of a real community.
Since 2016, I’ve had the joy of sharing that same connection at Pike Place Market with Savor Seattle, where we celebrate authenticity, curiosity, and make every day fun! Being part of this vibrant neighborhood and helping our guests savor the journey is truly the highlight of my career.
Local Dish You Always Recommend: Pomodoro pasta with fresh burrata on top from Pasta Casalinga
Favorite Seattle Spot: Discovery Park, especially at low tide

Sky
Sky is a proud Seattle native who fell in love with Pike Place Market as a kid and has always visited the Market. When Sky took the opportunity to become a Tour Guide at Pike Place. it quickly became a calling as he immersed himself in the stories, history, and heartbeat of the market community.
Passionate about preserving its magic, Sky is dedicated to honoring the characters, culture, legacy, and most importantly, the food that make the market a one-of-a-kind treasure.
You’ll usually find him hugging or swapping stories with vendors, chasing hidden corners of history, or helping visitors fall in love with the Market—just like he did.
Local Dish You Always Recommend: Longanisa and pancit from O-Mart
Favorite Seattle Spot: On the new overlook watch, there’s a point that’s the highest and furthest out. A circular medallion is imprinted on the ground. If you stand in that exact spot when a ferry is leaving the port and it sounds its horn, you can just hear the echo travel up the sound. It’s my new favorite Seattle experience.

Frankie
Frankie is a dessert-loving tour guide who calls both Seattle and the Appalachian Mountains home.
After moving to the Pacific Northwest, Frankie worked in the chocolate industry and fell in love with all things sweet. Now they spend their days at a local pastry school learning from chefs with decades of experience and working hands-on to provide delicious pastries for their community.
Frankie is a self-proclaimed food nerd who is excited to share this love with every person on their tours.
Local Dish You Always Recommend: Ube tart from Mittens Sweets & Coffee
Favorite Seattle Spot: Pier 62

Tessa
Hi, I’m Tessa. I’ve traveled and lived and eaten my way through many countries around the world.
I believe the secret ingredients to amazing food are the people and the stories behind it.
When not having a blast introducing new friends to the incredible community of Pike Place Market, you’ll find me deep in the wilderness, playing games outside or exploring.
Local Dish You Always Recommend: Kha sach chrouk (braised pork belly) at Sophon (Khmer/Cambodian cuisine) in the Phinney Ridge neighborhood
Favorite Seattle Spot: One of three bakeries (Saint Bread, Ben’s Bread, or Le Panier)

Kacey
Kacey originally grew up in New England but fell in love with Seattle on a trip out to the West Coast.
She sort of stumbled into working at Pike Place Market over a decade ago. She has worn many hats in the market, as well as in the food service industry.
Kacey has had a deep love and affection for Pike Place ever since her first time working here. In her spare time, she loves to spend time exploring nature, thrift shopping, gaming, and traveling!
Local Dish You Always Recommend: Any saj from Yalla in Capitol Hill
Favorite Seattle Spot: Frink Park for a hike and Madrona Park for an amazing view of Mt. Rainier

Nick
Nick has lived in Seattle his whole life—over 27 years—and has no plans to leave.
You’ll spot him (and his curly hair) geeking out over a cool tree or a bird he’s never seen before. He’s genuinely stoked to share what makes the market so special with travelers far and wide.
Just don’t get him started on ancient history … unless you’ve got time to spare.
Local Dish You Always Recommend: A burger from Dicks Drive-In (Hot take: It’s better than In-N-Out.)
Favorite Seattle Spot: Wherever his dog is currently

Martina
Hi! My name is Martina. I’m originally from the Chicago area, and I also lived in Atlanta for 14 years. After 12 years in Seattle, I am thrilled to call it home.
I love discovering new places, new people, and new food, whether that’s off in Paris or checking out a new restaurant 5 minutes away.
When I’m not giving a tour, you might catch me lifting weights, doing Brazilian jiu-jitsu, or reading a book.
Local Dish You Always Recommend: The Normie McDonald pizza from Stevie’s Famous
Favorite Seattle Spot: Meydenbauer Bay Park—perfect for a beautiful picnic or kayaking
