Gift Boxes FAQ

Savor’s gift boxes are curated collections of small-batch food and drink products from the same Pike Place Market vendors featured on Savor’s food tours. Think Chukar Cherries, Beecher’s Handmade Cheese, and MarketSpice tea. Boxes are themed (Seattle Favorites, Misty Mornings, Holiday Sweet Treats) and shipped nationwide.

All boxes ship from Savor’s warehouse in Washington, within 3 business days of your order. Boxes containing perishable items don’t ship on Thursdays or Fridays, so they aren’t sitting in transit over a weekend. Standard shipments go out via UPS SurePost.

Add at least one extra day to standard UPS Ground transit times to account for SurePost. Delivery estimates are approximate and can shift during high-volume periods like the holidays, or for remote areas that require additional transit days. Savor isn’t responsible for delays, incorrect addresses, or lost/stolen packages. No. Savor’s boxes are too large for UPS to deliver to a PO Box, so a street address is required for the recipient.

Yes. Orders to Alaska and Hawaii are accepted; the buyer is responsible for the additional shipping cost UPS assesses for those destinations.

Not at this time. Savor gift boxes currently ship only within the United States.

Yes. During checkout, on the Shopping Cart page, there’s a field labeled “Add a note for the recipient.” Whatever you type there gets included inside the box.

No. Gift boxes include a packing sheet listing the items inside, but it does not show prices, so it’s safe to send directly to the recipient.

No. Savor Food Tours does not currently offer refunds, exchanges, or returns on gift boxes, given the perishable and small-batch nature of the products inside.
